Autistic individuals are only a child for a fraction of their lifetime. What happens to Autistic adults?

There is a need for a local community Autistic center. The location for this experiment is Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Not a group home. Yes if those services are needed, it should be more like a commune. While also recognizing that many other Autistics are independent and prefer to have their own home. And there are those who want the perfect balance of living independently alone and wanting a local Autistic community in their own town.

Not a day program. Yes if those services are needed, it would be more about Autistics having a totally out of the box job where they can have a real outlet to use their skills and strengths.

Not limited to individual one on one services. An Autistic Center to serve the local Autistic community. The "Autistic Community" is exactly the Autistic people themselves.

It is a rarity to find an Autistic center.

It is a rarity to find an Autistic center that has peer group community services specifically for Autistic individuals.

It is a rarity to find an Autistic center for Autistic adults.

It is a rarity to find an Autistic center that doesn't employ any Psychologists and Psychiatrists, and has a policy of no medication. The option to seek those specifics elsewhere is completely up to the individual.

It is a rarity to find an Autistic center that is 100% AUTISTIC RUN ONLY. Family members are not qualified without a basis of being Autistic themselves as well.

An Autistic center where the Autistic people themselves are completely in charge of everything. The method of treatment is to protect the human rights of all Autistics. A place to be safe and free and not have to change for ANYONE. A place to not be treated for a disability. A place to discover and use abilities.
